Las Vegas Valley residents who prefer spring temperatures over summer heat will be pleased to know that the National Weather Service is forecasting a dip in temperatures this week, with highs dropping below normal before the weekend. The cooling trend will be accompanied by breezy conditions, and there’s a chance of rain or thunderstorms on Friday. Tuesday’s high is expected to reach 91 degrees, but gusting winds of up to 24 mph will make it feel a bit cooler. Wednesday’s low will be around 63 degrees, with an afternoon high of 86 degrees. Winds may again gust close to 30 mph. Thursday’s high will be around 80 degrees, and Friday’s will be around 76 degrees. Temperatures will remain unseasonably warm through Monday, but then we’ll see steady cooling throughout the week. However, the cooler weather will be accompanied by gusty winds. The weather service predicts a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms Friday night. The Saturday high should be near 79 degrees, with a high of 85 degrees likely on Sunday.
