According to police reports, the accused, who were reportedly intoxicated at the time, confronted Rikki and allegedly began misbehaving with him. An altercation ensued, and the accused proceeded to stab Rikki multiple times in the chest. Rikki’s father, Bijender Singh, filed a complaint with the authorities, leading to the registration of an FIR under Section 302 (murder) of the IPC. The police swiftly apprehended both accused within a few hours of the incident. During interrogation, the accused confessed to the crime, stating that they were in an intoxicated state and had stabbed Rikki after an altercation with him. It was revealed that the accused and the victim were not previously acquainted. Further investigations into the case are ongoing as the police continue to question the accused.
