California Garlic Festival Finds New Home in Merced County
The California Garlic Festival, which was previously held at the San Joaquin County Fairgrounds for the past two years, has announced its relocation to the Merced County Spring Fairgrounds in Los Banos. The festival will be held over Labor Day weekend, from August 30th to September 1st.
The organizers of the festival, which was started in Stockton after the Gilroy Garlic Festival was shut down in 2022, have promised a packed schedule of activities and attractions. Attendees can expect thrilling monster truck shows, live entertainment, a carnival, and a wide array of vendors offering their wares. Naturally, the festival will also feature a delectable selection of garlic-infused culinary delights, including the tantalizing garlic maple brown sugar ice cream.
Admission to the festival is $15 for adults and $10 for children ages 6-17, while younger children are admitted free of charge. Visitors seeking unlimited access to the carnival rides can purchase a wristband for $35.
The California Garlic Festival promises to be a fantastic experience for garlic enthusiasts and festival-goers alike. With its diverse offerings of entertainment, food, and family-friendly activities, it is sure to be a memorable summer event.
