Broomfield FISH, a food bank and resource center that has been instrumental in providing food and housing to over one-sixth of Broomfield residents in 2023, is once again collaborating with the National Association of Letter Carriers for their nationwide Stamp Out Hunger food drive on May 11. This initiative involves leaving bags filled with non-perishable food and personal care items by your mailbox, which postal carriers will then collect. The National Association of Letter Carriers, representing postal workers of the U.S. Postal Service, will be responsible for this aspect of the food drive. The increasing need for FISH’s services in the community has prompted them to seek additional support through donations and volunteers. If you’re interested in contributing to their efforts, please visit their website at broomfieldfish.org for further information.
