Jaipur Man Ends Life by Jumping from Commercial Building
A 26-year-old man identified as Gaurav Tripathi tragically ended his life by jumping from the fourth floor of a commercial building in Jaipur’s Jalupura police station area on Tuesday afternoon. Tripathi was employed in the housekeeping department of a grocery store chain and lived with his brother in the Shekawati complex near Polo Victory area.
According to police, the incident occurred around noon, causing panic among people having tea at a nearby stall. Emergency services were immediately called, and Tripathi was rushed to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Investigations revealed that Tripathi had shown no signs of taking this extreme step. However, it was discovered that he had been receiving psychiatric treatment and suffering from depression for a prolonged period. No suicide note was found on the deceased or at his residence.
CCTV footage retrieved from the building showed that Tripathi had attempted to jump twice before finally taking the leap. He sustained severe injuries to his head, ribs, and other parts of his body.
The police have ruled out any foul play and classified it as a clear case of suicide. They handed over the body to the family after a post-mortem examination for proper burial.
