Extended Metro Timings for IPL Matches in Delhi

The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has extended the last train timings on all lines to facilitate spectators attending IPL matches at Arun Jaitley Stadium. The decision was made to facilitate smooth travel for spectators attending the matches on Wednesday (April 23), May 7, and 14 at Arun Jaitley Stadium.

In addition to the metro timings, the Delhi Police has released an advisory for the match between Delhi Capitals and Gujarat Titans, scheduled for Wednesday from 7 pm to 11:30 pm. The advisory states that there will be diversions and restrictions on Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg (BSZ Marg) and JLN Marg. Commuters are advised to avoid BSZ Marg from Delhi Gate to ITO Chowk and JLN Marg from Rajghat to Delhi Gate on Wednesday between 5 pm and 8 pm.

To facilitate spectators, shuttle services will be available at ITO Metro Station and Pragati Maidan Metro Station. Moreover, park and ride facilities will be provided at Mata Sundari Marg parking for gate numbers 1 to 8 and 16 to 18, as well as at Rajghat power house road and Velodrome Road for gate numbers 9 to 15. Spectators can park their vehicles at these locations and use the shuttle service to reach the stadium.

The Delhi Police has urged the general public and motorists to exercise patience, follow traffic rules and road discipline, and adhere to the instructions given by traffic personnel deployed at all intersections. They have also advised people to stay updated on the latest information regarding the traffic arrangements.
