Marc Anderson Wins Republican Nomination in York County House Race

Marc Anderson emerged as the winner in a competitive five-way Republican primary race on Tuesday night. The race was held to determine the party’s nominee for the 92nd House District in northern York County, which is currently represented by Rep. Dawn Keefer. Anderson secured 36.6% of the votes, gaining a narrow lead over second-place finisher Zak Kile, who received the support of 31.4% of GOP voters. The remaining candidates, Ed Harlow, Bill Moul, and Ron Miller, garnered 16.3%, 10.5%, and 5.2% of the votes, respectively. Anderson’s victory sets him up as the Republican candidate in the upcoming general election, where he will face Democratic nominee Eddie Freeland. The general election is scheduled to be held on November 8, 2022.
