Amanda Holden, a judge on Britain’s Got Talent, had her fans in stitches as she shared her hilarious predicament of being trapped in her Spanish property, forcing her to scale a wall to get to work. The TV star is currently in Spain and was set to host her Heart radio breakfast show from there when she found herself unable to leave the premises. In the early hours of the morning, Amanda and her team realized that the door to the grounds was locked, leaving them stranded in the courtyard. Taking to Instagram to share her ordeal, she told her followers: “So this happened… just trying to get to work.”
In a video clip, the star can be seen in the dim morning light, bundled up in a cozy cream coat and comfortable black trousers. “Morning,” she greeted. “So I am trying to do Heart from Spain… and we are locked in the property!”
Amanda then pointed out a colleague as she explained their escape plan. “We have just found some ladders in there and we are going to have to… look… ladders, to get over the top of this,” she said, indicating a large wall in front of her. She then approached an unseen person, joking about her “fluent Spanish” as she informed them: “Hello? Hello, we are here, we can’t get out of the gate, but we are here… sorry.”
Amanda was spotted scaling a wall with ladders, much to the delight of her fans, as she chuckled away. Triumphantly, she declared, “I made it! ” upon reaching the other side. Her social media followers couldn’t get enough of the escapade, with one labelling the spectacle “bloody hilarious” and another praising it as “amazingly funny”. “This has made me laugh so much,” a third fan commented, clearly entertained. Another follower praised Amanda’s antics, saying, “So funny. Pure dedication to Heart and you hung on to your coffee. Go, Mandy. Brilliant xx.”
Meanwhile, another admirer highlighted her commitment and one fan confessed, “Omg you make me wee with laughter!” The humor continued as another quipped: “The great escape!” One fan couldn’t resist comparing her to Sharon Osbourne, jesting that Osbourne would have been waiting for a helicopter instead.
