Following their recent induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Deep Purple is thrilled to announce the release of their upcoming album, ‘Turning to Crime.’ Scheduled to hit stores on July 19, the album serves as the band’s first with new guitarist Simon McBride and promises to evoke their classic sound while embracing a contemporary edge.
Produced by the legendary Bob Ezrin, ‘Turning to Crime’ encapsulates the essence of Deep Purple’s 1970s incarnation, offering a fresh interpretation of their pioneering style without relying on nostalgia. The album’s enigmatic title symbolizes the idea that in a world growing ever more complex, everything eventually simplifies down to a single, unified essence.
A new single from the band will be unveiled to the world at midnight on April 30, tantalizing fans with a taste of what’s to come. For those who cherish physical formats, ‘Turning to Crime’ will be available in various formats, including CD+DVD, CD, double black vinyl, limited edition purple double vinyl, and a limited edition clear double vinyl.
