Akash Ambani, the elder son of Asia’s wealthiest individual, Mukesh Ambani, recently went viral for his modest and composed demeanor after being inadvertently struck with a cricket fan’s phone following an Indian Premier League (IPL) match. The incident unfolded as Ambani’s father’s team, the Mumbai Indians, emerged victorious over the Punjab Kings. As Ambani, 32, made his way past ecstatic fans, they showered him with congratulations. In a heartwarming gesture, he paused to engage with the supporters and requested one of their phones to capture a selfie. However, the situation took an unexpected turn when several enthusiastic cricket enthusiasts excitedly hurled their devices towards him. In the midst of the commotion, one of the phones made contact with Ambani as he attempted to grasp the numerous devices simultaneously. Despite the incident, Ambani’s demeanor remained unfazed. Instead of engaging in any form of dispute, the son of the Indian multinational conglomerate Reliance Industries’ CEO calmly picked up the phone, clicked a few selfies with the fans, and promptly returned it. After competing in eight games, the Mumbai Indians currently occupy the seventh position with eight points to their tally. The team will face the Delhi Capitals in their next match, scheduled for Saturday, April 27th.
