Kanye West Claims Adidas CEO Wanted to ‘Burn’ the Yeezys in Latest Tangent

Kanye West has launched a fresh attack on Adidas, claiming the German sportswear giant’s CEO wanted to ‘burn’ his Yeezy trainers after the rapper’s anti-Semitic remarks.

West, 45, was dropped by Adidas in October 2022 after a series of controversial comments, including threatening to go ‘death con 3’ on Jewish people.

The rapper has since repeatedly accused Adidas of stealing his designs and trying to ‘destroy’ him. In his latest tirade, West claimed that Adidas CEO Kasper Rorsted approached him and said they were going to ‘just burn the product’.

West also claimed that Adidas has been paying off his lawyers and that he has not approved the new colors of Yeezys that the company has been releasing.

Adidas has not yet responded to West’s latest claims.

In a previous post, West wrote: ‘There is an overlap to Adidas and Kim ignoring my opinion on where my kids go to school or people ignoring my name change or the entire celebrity culture ostracizing me for my political opinion It all comes down to human rights which you sacrifice when you’re stigmatized with mental issues. All these situations are actually far crazier than what I’ve been branded to be.’

West’s comments come as he is embroiled in a legal battle with Adidas. The sportswear company is suing West for $75 million, alleging that he breached his contract by making unauthorized changes to the Yeezy brand.

West has countersued, claiming that Adidas stole his designs and failed to pay him royalties.

The trial is set to begin in June 2023.
