She recalls adorning her college hostel room with prints of Kahlo’s paintings, marveling at her bold style and unapologetic embrace of her roots.
Sampath’s creative vision extended to crafting a music video featuring Mohapatra’s encounter with the iconic Frida. The song’s composition and arrangement, infused with a vibrant Latin American flavor, provided the perfect foundation for this homage to their shared passion for honoring their heritage amidst a world that often seeks uniformity.
