Following the success of ‘Taare Zameen Par’ in 2007, Aamir Khan is embarking on a new chapter with its sequel, ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’. The actor is preparing to commence filming in Delhi next month, accompanied by a talented group of 11 children. Additional star cast members will also join the production, although their details remain undisclosed.
The film’s narrative will revolve around the Paralympic Games, highlighting the extraordinary abilities of differently-abled athletes. The production schedule spans approximately one month, between May and June, and will involve the children participating in various Paralympic sports.
Various locations in Delhi will serve as the backdrop for the shoot, including iconic landmarks such as Lal Qila, Lodhi Garden, Purani Dilli, and Tyagraj Stadium. The decision to film within the city aims to minimize travel for the young cast.
Sources close to the production have confirmed that Aamir Khan will personally oversee the shoot in Delhi. The film’s release date and further details regarding the supporting cast and crew are expected to be announced shortly.
