YouTube Music is enhancing the podcast listening experience for its users with the introduction of new sort filters and improvements to the radio creator.
The addition of more sort options on the show page provides increased flexibility for managing podcast libraries. Along with the existing options of ‘Newest to oldest’, ‘Oldest to newest’, ‘Most popular’, and ‘Default’, users can now sort podcasts by ‘In Progress’, ‘Unplayed’, and ‘Played’. These filters allow listeners to easily filter out podcasts they have already consumed or are currently in the process of listening to.
YouTube Music has also made improvements to the radio creator, which enables users to create personalized radio stations based on their preferences. A new artist search bar has been added, making it easier to find and add specific artists to radio stations. Previously, users had to scroll through an extensive list of artists, which could be time-consuming.
These new features add to the growing list of improvements YouTube Music has made to its podcasting platform.
