Dreamsurge Cradle: A Guide to Season 4 Currency
In Season 4 of the popular video game, players have access to various methods for acquiring gear and advancing their characters to experience the new seasonal content. One of these methods involves the Dreamsurge Cradle, a currency item introduced in the previous season.
The Dreamsurge Cradle allows players to trade them for appropriate Item Level gear for that season. To obtain a Dreamsurge Cradle, players must complete the weekly Shaping the Dreamsurge quest. Once acquired, they can visit Archdruid Hamuul Runetotem, the NPC who gave them the quest, and turn in their Dreamsurge Cradle in exchange for an item of their choosing.
However, at the start of Season 4, Archdruid Hamuul Runetotem appears to be bugged. While he should be selling a variety of gear to players in exchange for their Dreamsurge Cradle, he currently does not sell any items at all. Unfortunately, a few other vendor NPCs also appear to be bugged, preventing players from exchanging their currency with them.
Blizzard has confirmed that they are aware of the issue and are working on a hotfix. The Dreamsurge Cradle is an extremely useful item for getting started in a new season, as it allows players to quickly gear up an alt and start farming Mythic + dungeons and other forms of end-game content.
While the issue persists, players can still complete the Shaping the Dreamsurge quest and collect their weekly Dreamsurge Cradle, as well as the Cache of Dreams, which may contain additional loot. By collecting Dreamsurge Cradles now, players will be ready to exchange them for powerful gear once the bug is fixed.
