Former ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ star Phaedra Parks has hinted at a potential return to the show in Season 16. While currently focused on ‘Married to Medicine,’ Parks stated that she remains open to the opportunity. “I don’t know if that puts all the rumors to rest,” she said. “Because I’m a multi-faceted type of girl.”
Parks, who exited the series in 2017, explained that she feels “the door has always been somewhat open” for her to come back. “But I want to do what’s best for me and my family, so it’s got to be the right opportunity,” she clarified. “And it’s got to be with the right castmates.”
She told the outlet that she’s “really excited” for Porsha Williams, who along with Kenya Moore, are the only two cast members currently locked in for Season 16, per ET. “I love Porsha and, you know, we’ve been talking, and hopefully we can work something out,” Parks shared.
Rumors of a cast shake-up have seemingly been confirmed, as Kandi Burruss, Marlo Hampton, and Sanya Richards-Ross have all announced their respective exits. Additionally, a February TMZ report revealed that fellow series alum NeNe Leakes was not in any talks with the network for a Season 16 return. During a February appearance on the Tamron Hall Show, Moore addressed the possibility of Leakes coming back, ultimately saying, “”I don’t know, I can’t answer that.”
“That question has been asked a lot of times but according to our boss, that door is closed,” she continued. “But you know, you never know.”
