The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a weather bulletin forecasting heatwave conditions over the states of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and Karnataka. The heatwave is expected to persist in Rajasthan until May 9th and in Madhya Pradesh until May 10th. The bulletin also predicts a wet spell over a few northeastern states in the coming days. These weather conditions are attributed to cyclonic circulations and strong winds prevailing over the region. Additionally, a trough/wind discontinuity extending from east Vidarbha to north Tamil Nadu is anticipated to bring showers to southern states in the coming days.
