GreenPower Motor Company, Inc. (NASDAQ: GP) (TSXV: GPV) has announced the closing of its previously announced underwritten public offering. The offering consisted of 1,500,000 common shares and warrants to purchase 1,500,000 common shares. Each common share was sold together with one warrant at a combined public offering price of . The warrants have an exercise price of per share, are exercisable immediately, and will expire three years following the date of issuance. In addition, the Company granted the underwriter a 45-day option to purchase up to an additional 5 percent of the number of common shares and/or warrants offered in the Offering, of which Maxim has partially exercised its option to purchase additional warrants to purchase 75,000 common shares. Gross proceeds from the Offering were approximately before deducting underwriting discounts and offering expenses, inclusive of the over-allotment.
