PortMiami’s success stems from its partnerships with 23 cruise lines, offering an extensive range of brands and itineraries. The port’s strategic location, just moments away from iconic destinations like Miami Beach and Downtown Miami, makes it an ideal departure point for Caribbean, Bahamian, and Mexican cruises.
In recent years, PortMiami has embarked on a significant expansion program, unveiling three state-of-the-art cruise terminals: Norwegian Cruise Line’s Cruise Terminal B (‘Pearl of Miami’), Carnival Corporation’s Cruise Terminal F, and Virgin Voyages’ Cruise Terminal V (‘Palm Grove’). The port’s ongoing developments include MSC Cruises’ Terminal AA, scheduled to open in 2024, and Royal Caribbean Group’s Cruise Terminal G, set for completion in late 2027.
PortMiami’s commitment to sustainability is exemplified by its comprehensive Shore Power Program. In partnership with cruise industry leaders and Florida Power and Light Company, the program will enable five cruise terminals to connect ships to shore-based electricity by spring 2024. This innovative initiative reduces air emissions by allowing vessels to shut down their engines while docked.
