During the recent IPW event hosted by U.S. Travel, the U.S. Travel Association and Brand USA presented Travel Writer Awards to five esteemed journalists. These awards recognize outstanding travel journalism in three categories: exceptional articles on U.S. travel destinations, exemplary coverage of the previous IPW host city, San Antonio, and superior writing in trade publications.

The competition received close to 250 submissions from journalists hailing from five continents. Entries were evaluated based on their originality, compelling storytelling, and ability to inspire travel to the United States.
