IHG Hotels & Resorts is introducing two of its renowned brands to Vietnam in 2024: Hotel Indigo and Vignette Collection. The Hotel Indigo Saigon The City in Ho Chi Minh City will embody the local culture and offer a unique guest experience. The Vignette Collection will make its debut near the UNESCO World Heritage Site in Hoi An, enhancing the historic charm of the central coastal city.
This expansion aligns with the growing demand for high-quality accommodations in Vietnam, where domestic travel has surged. The introduction of these brands brings IHG’s portfolio in Vietnam to eight, catering to diverse traveler needs.
Paul Cunningham, Senior Director of Operations for South East Asia and Korea at IHG, attributes the growth to a positive travel outlook, driven by strong domestic and international demand. IHG’s pipeline includes new projects such as the InterContinental Halong Bay Resort and Holiday Inn Resort Halong Bay, further expanding its presence in Vietnam.
IHG’s commitment to Vietnam is evident in its in-market team and presence, supporting its hotels and owners in delivering exceptional guest experiences. With a current portfolio of 18 hotels and 26 more in the pipeline, IHG aims to more than double its presence in Vietnam by 2028.
