CBSE Class 12 Results 2024: Over 87% Pass the Exams, Girls Outshine Boys

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announced the Class 12 results today, May 13th, 2024. This year, 87.98% of students cleared the Class 12 exams, an increase of 0.65% from the previous year. Girls outshone boys by a margin of over 6.40%, with over 91% of girls passing the exam compared to 85.12% of boys. Trivandrum emerged as the top-performing region with a pass percentage of 99.91%, followed closely by Vijaywada at 99.04%.

Students can access their results through the official CBSE website (cbseresults.nic.in or results.cbse.nic.in) by navigating to the examinations/board result 2024 section and logging in with their roll number, school number, and security PIN. Alternatively, students can also access their results through the DigiLocker app by logging in or creating an account and selecting the CBSE Result 2024 option. They will need to enter their Aadhaar number to view their scorecard.

For students who are not satisfied with their results, CBSE has released the schedule for marks verification, re-valuation, and scanned copies of answer sheets. Marks verification can be applied for within four to eight days after the declaration of results, while re-evaluation of answer sheets can be requested from the 24th to 25th day after the result declaration.

The Class 10 and 12 Board Exams commenced on February 15th and concluded on March 13th and April 2nd, respectively. The exams were conducted in single shifts spanning two to three hours, depending on the subject.
