Among the attendees this year were Italian rock star Damiano David and actress and singer Victoria De Angelis, who made their Met Gala debut in head-turning ensembles designed by Glenn Martens of Diesel.
David, known as the frontman of the band Måneskin, exuded an air of rebellious sophistication in a devoré tuxedo. The fabric, a signature of Martens’s collections, gave the illusion of disintegration, subtly revealing David’s tattoos.
