As the UK’s leading event to attract investment into UK regions, UKREiiF provides a platform for the delegation from London Gatwick and the wider Gatwick Diamond region to connect with investors from across the globe. The delegation, co-funded by London Gatwick, spearheads the region’s representation for the first time, connecting with over 10,000 investment decision-makers. The coalition includes county councils, local authorities, and private sector affiliates from Sussex, Surrey, Kent, and South London. During the event, Alison Addy, Head of External Engagement and Policy at London Gatwick Airport, will participate in a panel discussion exploring the success of Airport Economic Zones (AEZs) around the globe. AEZs involve collaboration between airports and surrounding regions, aimed at attracting inward investment and benefiting local communities and regional economies. London Gatwick is actively working with partners to explore establishing an Airport Economic Zone around the airport.
