Event registration is now open for Culture Days 2024, a three-week national celebration of culture, arts, and creativity. The event will take place from September 20th to October 13th, 2024, across Canada. Organizations, individuals, groups, and communities can register to present interactive arts and cultural experiences to participants as part of the countrywide network of free events, activities, presentations, workshops, and more.
Culture Days is a catalyst for attracting communities to support, enjoy, and participate in the arts. The year 2024 marks the 15th anniversary of the event, and the Executive Director of Culture Days National, Shannon Bowler, expressed excitement about the upcoming celebration. Bowler emphasized the importance of Culture Days in inspiring the public to appreciate the significance of culture and art and to support local creators, artists, and organizations year-round.
The 2023 Culture Days celebration was the largest on record, with over 4.4 million people across Canada participating in over 3,000 events. Culture Days 2024 aims to continue this momentum and provide opportunities for communities to connect and celebrate the arts and culture that enriches their lives.
