The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced that Class 12 students who are unsatisfied with their Board exam 2024 results can apply for verification of marks, photocopy of answer sheets, and re-evaluation. The application window is open from May 13 to May 21, 2024, and students can register online at cbse.gov.in.
Out of the 16,21,224 students who appeared for the exam, 14,26,420 cleared it, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 87.98%. However, 1,22,170 students have been placed in the compartment category.
CBSE has emphasized that these facilities are time-bound and can only be availed online. Students will need to pay Rs. 500 per subject for verification of marks, which will be available from May 20 to May 24, 2024.
It is important to note that any score decrease, even by one mark, will affect the results. In such cases, students will have to surrender their Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets, and new ones will be issued.
