Eurowings has launched its inaugural flight from Manchester to Stuttgart on Thursday, 9 May, in anticipation of the Euro 2024 football tournament this summer. The new route will operate four times a week—Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays—using an Airbus A319. Stuttgart marks the third German destination that Eurowings serves from Manchester, adding to existing routes to Dusseldorf and Hamburg. This new route complements a variety of other German destinations available from Manchester, offering a wealth of choices for those visiting Germany, whether for football or leisure.
Manchester Airport Commercial Director Stephen Turner said: “We are proud to serve the people of the North with an ever-growing range of over 200 destinations built around what travelers from the region want. Germany is a hugely popular country with people from the North and with the Euros just around the corner that is only set to grow. Eurowings launching this new service is really exciting for us and our passengers.”
The Euro 2024 football tournament will take place in Germany from June 14 to July 14. Eurowings is one of the official sponsors of the tournament and is offering a variety of travel packages for fans attending the games. The airline is also offering discounts on flights to Germany for those who book early.
