On the opening day of the Future Aviation Forum 2024, Saudia Group unveiled its historic aircraft purchase from Airbus, marking a significant milestone for aviation in Saudi Arabia and the MENA region. The deal involves 105 aircraft, including A320neo and A321neo models, and will support the group’s ambitious growth plans.

Massive Acquisition to Enhance Connectivity and Capacity

As part of the agreement, Saudia will acquire 54 A321neo aircraft, while flyadeal, the group’s budget airline, will take delivery of 12 A320neo and 39 A321neo planes. This substantial investment will enable the group to expand its operations, add new destinations, and enhance transportation capacity in line with Saudi Vision 2030’s goals.

State-of-the-Art Aircraft with Advanced Amenities

The newly acquired aircraft will feature spacious cabins with modern interiors, providing exceptional comfort and privacy for passengers. This move coincides with the completion of the MRO Village at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah, which will significantly expand Saudia Technic’s service capabilities.
