SUSHISAMBA to Open First Asian Outpost in Singapore’s Capital Tower
SUSHISAMBA, the renowned restaurant group from Sunset Hospitality Group, is set to launch its inaugural Asian outpost in Singapore by mid-July. Nestled on the 52nd floor of the Capital Tower in the heart of the city, SUSHISAMBA Singapore will offer panoramic views of the urban landscape from 260 meters high.
This venue celebrates the fusion of Japanese, Brazilian, and Peruvian elements in both its menu and ambiance, enriching it further with a flair for music, art, and design. At the helm of SUSHISAMBA Singapore’s culinary offerings is Chef Kyung Soo Moon, a seasoned Culinary Director with extensive international experience. The menu showcases a harmonious mix of Japanese, Brazilian, and Peruvian flavors, with many ingredients, particularly seafood, sourced from Japan.
Signature dishes include Peruvian ceviche, the SAMBA Singapore roll, and an array of sushi and sashimi. Notably, it is one of the few places in Singapore where diners can enjoy fresh tuna directly from Japan. The menu also emphasizes locally sourced organic vegetables and offers several dishes tailored to local tastes.
Positioned in Singapore’s bustling economic and financial center, SUSHISAMBA Singapore is surrounded by a vibrant mix of skyscrapers and commercial spaces, offering 360-degree city and sea views. This makes it a prime spot for both dining and scenic enjoyment.
Crafted by KokaiStudios, an award-winning architectural firm, SUSHISAMBA Singapore spans 12,000 square feet and includes 250 seats spread over various levels. The decor reflects its cultural roots with a vibrant, energetic atmosphere. Features include a theatre-style open kitchen and a robata grill. The ambiance is amplified by DJs spinning Afro, Brazilian, and Latin tunes and live performances by Samba dancers and percussionists.
The venue also boasts a sophisticated lounge for enjoying creative cocktails and three private dining rooms for more intimate gatherings.
The SAMBA Room, a stylish lounge area on the mezzanine floor, embodies the essence of SUSHISAMBA, mirroring the spirit seen across its global locations but with a unique design tailored to Singapore.
