Four Seasons Hotel Prague’s Rooftop Gem, MIRU, Reopens with a New Menu and Breathtaking Views
MIRU, the rooftop restaurant at Four Seasons Hotel Prague, renowned for its seasonal delicacies and breathtaking views, is set to reopen on May 24, 2024. Guests can look forward to an innovative new menu crafted by Japanese Chef Toshikazu Kato and Executive Chef Nicholas Trosien.
Experience an enchanting evening under the stars, sipping a complimentary glass of sparkling wine as you watch the sun set behind Prague Castle. The terrace, designed to resemble a Japanese garden and featuring only four tables, offers an intimate setting for guests to savor a distinctive degustation menu against the backdrop of stunning views, promising an unforgettable culinary adventure.
“MIRU prioritizes taste and ingredients, drawing inspiration from traditional Japanese methods combined with local elements. Nicholas and I are committed to continually refining and innovating our offerings, this time for a more interactive menu where guests can experience the thrill of culinary alchemy not only in the dishes but also with the drinks,” says Chef Kato.
“From the delicate balance of Crispy Rice paired with Tuna and King Crab through the tenderness of Wagyu Hoba Yaki, elevated by Maitake Mushroom and Yuzu Miso Anticucho, to a light Matcha Mousse served with Mango Sauce, each course reflects our passion for innovation and authenticity. By infusing elements of interactivity into our menu, we aim to provide our guests with a four-senses experience,” adds Executive Chef Trosien.
To enhance the dining experience, Head Bartender Silvie Carićová has curated a selection of three exclusive cocktails to complement the dishes. As she says, “Each sip tells a story, from the delicate floral notes of cherry blossom in our gin concoction, through the bold fusion of whisky with sesame oil, to our refreshing lemon peel-infused vodka offering. These cocktails are not just drinks; they’re an exploration of flavors, meticulously designed to elevate your dining experience.”
MIRU restaurant will welcome guests from May 24 to mid-September 2024.
