In a stunning turn of events, I had the opportunity to stay at Casa Acantilado, one of Mexico’s most exclusive vacation homes. Located in the heart of Cabo San Lucas, this cliffside villa exudes luxury and tranquility.
As I entered the opulent living area, I was greeted by panoramic ocean views that left me speechless. The kitchen was well-equipped, and I couldn’t resist indulging in a few guilty pleasures from the pre-stocked grocery list. The dining area accommodated up to 10 guests, and the adjacent seating area provided a cozy spot for relaxation.
The main bedroom was a masterpiece, featuring a king-sized bed with uninterrupted ocean views. The walk-in closet was a dream come true, and the bathroom boasted a double sink, bathtub, and a window that opened to the crashing waves. However, the bathtub was a bit of a letdown as it didn’t provide hot water.
The highlight of the property was the pool and hot tub combo. I spent countless hours lounging by the pool, marveling at the picturesque views. The outdoor dining area and mini kitchen made it easy to enjoy meals while basking in the sun.
On my birthday, I treated myself to a private masseuse, who gave me one of the best massages of my life. The tension headache I had been experiencing vanished.
Later that evening, a private chef prepared a delectable dinner as the sun began to set. The meal was exquisite, and I couldn’t help but feel like a guest on Bravo’s Below Deck.
While a nightly price of $2,600 is beyond the means of my partner and me, I could envision returning with a group of 10 to 20 close friends. Casa Acantilado is a slice of paradise that offers an unforgettable vacation experience.
