ASUS, in response to feedback, has addressed a significant issue with its ROG Zephyrus G16 gaming laptop. The original model was limited to 16GB of soldered RAM, which hindered its optimal performance. The updated Zephyrus G16 now features a Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 CPU and up to 32GB of LPDDR5X memory in the RTX 4070 configuration, providing a significant upgrade in both processing power and memory capacity.
Additionally, the memory speed has been increased to an impressive 7,500 MT/s, ensuring faster performance and improved responsiveness. To further enhance the user experience, ASUS has also upgraded the wireless connection to Wi-Fi 7, offering blazing-fast internet speeds.
While the updates are currently limited to the AMD configuration, it is expected that prices on Intel Meteor Lake configurations will decrease as ASUS clears out its existing inventory. The updated Zephyrus G16 is slated to be available in the latter half of the year.
This refresh underscores ASUS’s commitment to providing its customers with the best possible gaming experience. By addressing the memory limitation and incorporating the latest advancements in technology, the updated Zephyrus G16 is poised to become a formidable contender in the gaming laptop market.
