Get ready for the spectacular launch of SpaceX’s Starship rocket on its fourth test flight, scheduled for Thursday. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has given the nod for this highly anticipated mission, which will witness the world’s most powerful rocket lift off from Starbase in Texas.
Standing tall at 120 meters, the Starship comprises the Super Heavy booster and the Starship spacecraft, both equipped with an astonishing 33 Raptor engines. These engines will unleash an incredible 17 million pounds of thrust, twice the power of NASA’s Space Launch System (SLS) rocket.
This test flight holds immense significance as it follows three previous flights. The first two resulted in dramatic explosions shortly after launch, while the third saw a successful Super Heavy performance and a 45-minute Starship flight before landing in the Indian Ocean.
