Terror Attack in Jammu and Kashmir: Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge Condemns Loss of Lives

Amidst the swearing-in ceremony of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the presence of foreign dignitaries in the country, a heinous terrorist attack has struck Jammu and Kashmir, claiming the lives of at least 10 pilgrims. Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge has vehemently condemned this dastardly act, emphasizing the ongoing spate of terrorist incidents in the region. He has questioned the effectiveness of the Modi government’s promises to establish peace and normalcy. Expressing deep sorrow over the loss of life, Kharge conveyed heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims and wished for the speedy recovery of the injured. He has urged the government to provide immediate assistance and compensation to the affected parties.

Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad has also condemned the attack, offering prayers for the injured and expressing condolences to the bereaved families. The Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) of Reasi, Mohita Sharma, confirmed the terrorist nature of the attack, expressing sadness over the cowardly act against pilgrims. Jammu and Kashmir Congress President Vikar Rasool Wani has demanded relief from the government for the victims, condemning the inhumane act in the strongest possible terms.
