Kannada actor Darshan Thoogudeepa was detained on Tuesday by the Bangalore police from Mysore in connection with the murder case of Renukaswamy, as reported by HT Kannada. The South Indian actor was arrested for his suspected involvement in the Renukaswamy murder case and is currently being transported to Bangalore. According to preliminary police investigations, Renukaswamy had made disparaging social media remarks about actress Pavitra Gowda, which prompted the police to launch an investigation into the case. The investigation was launched after Renukaswamy’s body was discovered near Sumannahalli Bridge in Bengaluru, as reported by Asianet. Ten people have been arrested so far in relation to the case.
