Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on the sidelines of the G-7 summit in Italy, emphasizing India’s belief in a human-centric approach and the importance of dialogue and diplomacy in resolving the conflict in Ukraine. Modi described the meeting as “very productive” and expressed India’s eagerness to strengthen bilateral relations with Ukraine.

In light of the ongoing hostilities, Prime Minister Modi reiterated India’s belief in the primacy of human lives and emphasized that the path to peace lies through dialogue and diplomatic efforts.
