Mobvoi has breathed new life into its recently released TicWatch Pro 5 Enduro by introducing a second color option. The smartwatch now comes in a Slate finish, adding a touch of sophistication to its design. While subtle, the Slate finish is a significant departure from the original Obsidian Black, which some found a bit bland.
Based on promotional images shared by Mobvoi, the Slate finish isn’t just a new strap color. The case itself has been given a matching makeover, adopting a similar gray/green hue with a matte polish to emphasize its lines. The bezel and crown, however, retain their polished shine, offering a striking contrast against the case. This subtle redesign helps showcase the TicWatch Pro 5 Enduro’s aesthetics far more effectively than the all-black version.
Beyond the color change, the TicWatch Pro 5 Enduro remains largely unchanged, including its similarity to the TicWatch Pro 5. The standout feature is still the dual-layer screen, combining a 1.43-inch OLED display for Google’s Wear OS software and an LCD for always-on functionality. This unique setup contributes to the watch’s exceptional power efficiency, delivering approximately four days of battery life on a single charge, as confirmed during our review.
For extended use, the Essential Mode comes into play, eliminating power-hungry features and extending the battery life to a remarkable 45 days. Powering the smartwatch is the Qualcomm Snapdragon W5+ Gen 1 processor. It also boasts a rear-mounted heart rate sensor, built-in GPS, and comprehensive sleep and exercise tracking.
The 48mm case is water-resistant to 5ATM and meets the MIL-STD-810H toughness standards. One of the most notable upgrades over the non-Enduro model is the inclusion of sapphire crystal over the screens, offering superior scratch resistance.
The new Slate Mobvoi TicWatch Pro 5 Enduro smartwatch is now available for purchase through Mobvoi’s online store and Amazon, priced at $350, identical to the Obsidian Black version.
