Castaway Island, Fiji, a premier beach destination managed by OUTRIGGER Resorts & Hotels, has officially opened its highly anticipated Water Park. This exciting new attraction is designed to elevate the guest experience with a range of exhilarating activities and features, promising endless fun and adventure for all visitors.

Nestled beyond Monkey Rock on the picturesque North Beach, the new Water Park is a key component of OUTRIGGER Resorts’ 2024 “Elevate” initiative. Visitors can anticipate an array of thrilling attractions including trampolines, water slides, swings, towers, and more. These features are carefully designed to spark delight and adventure for guests of all ages.

Prior to its official launch, children from Malolo District School were invited for a sneak peek, their enthusiastic reactions foreshadowing the boundless joy awaiting future visitors. The grand opening ceremony was a special event attended by esteemed guests, including Taukei Nalotu and Traditional Owner of Qalito Island, Ratu Joisaia Qauqau, representatives from the local community, and the dedicated staff of Castaway Island, Fiji.

Steven Andrews, General Manager of Castaway Island, Fiji, expressed his gratitude and enthusiasm during the opening ceremony. “Today marks a truly special occasion for all of us here at Castaway Island, Fiji as we gather to celebrate the grand opening of our new Water Park. It gives me great pleasure to extend a warm welcome to our local Chief Ratu Joisaia Qauqau, the traditional landowners of Qalito Island and our valued representatives of the local community and traditional owners of the waters surrounding the Mamanuca Islands,” said Andrews.
