Tragedy struck a home in Florence, Kentucky, early Saturday morning when a shooting left four people dead and three others injured. The incident occurred around 2:50 a.m. when police responded to a call at the residence. Upon arrival, officers discovered seven victims, four of whom were deceased. The three surviving victims were rushed to a Cincinnati hospital in critical condition.
Following the shooting, the suspect fled the scene, leading police on a vehicle pursuit. The chase ultimately ended when the suspect’s car veered off the road and plunged into a ditch. Police discovered the suspect had sustained a self-inflicted gunshot wound and he later died at a hospital.
