Alaska Airlines Announces New Winter Routes from Seattle to Vail and Liberia

Alaska Airlines is expanding its winter travel offerings with two new routes departing from Seattle. These routes provide exciting options for both business and leisure travelers seeking sun-drenched escapes or enchanting winter retreats.

Starting December 20, 2024, Alaska Airlines will offer direct flights from Seattle to Vail (Eagle County), Colorado, operating until March 16, 2025. These flights will be operated on a Boeing 737 aircraft, providing convenient access to the renowned ski destination.

For those seeking warm-weather getaways, Alaska Airlines is also introducing flights from Seattle to Liberia (Guanacaste), Costa Rica, starting December 21, 2024, and running until April 12, 2025. These flights, also operated on a Boeing 737, will provide seamless access to the beautiful beaches and warm climate of Costa Rica, offering an ideal escape from the winter chill.

Tickets for both routes are available for purchase starting July 10 on alaskaair.com.
