On Thursday, July 11, 2024, Croatian Trade Air successfully landed its inaugural flight at Hahn Airport in the Hunsrück region, marking the beginning of regular service between Hahn Airport and Pristina, the capital of Kosovo. This new route will operate every Thursday and Sunday, providing convenient travel options for those seeking to connect the two destinations.
The flights are operated by Trade Air using an A319 aircraft on behalf of MyWings, the Kosovan airline. The arrival of the first flight was celebrated with a traditional water salute, signifying the auspicious occasion.
“The new direct connection to Pristina is an important addition to our flight schedule,” said Rüdiger Franke, Managing Director of TRIWO Hahn Airport. “It enables the many Kosovars living in the catchment area of our airport to travel quickly and easily to visit friends and relatives. But the route is also very interesting for tourists.”
Pristina, pulsating with vitality, offers a rich tapestry of history and culture. Visitors can immerse themselves in the city’s iconic landmarks, including the National Library of Kosovo, the Mother Teresa Cathedral, and the Great Mosque of Pristina. Amidst these historical gems, charming cafes and restaurants provide a welcoming atmosphere for travelers to enjoy the local flavors and ambiance. This new flight service offers a convenient and efficient way for travelers to explore all that Pristina has to offer.
