Model Shares Six Pieces of Advice for Younger Self to Slow Down Aging and Live a Better Life

A model has revealed the six pieces of advice she would give to her younger self to slow down ageing and lead a more comfortable life. Dasha Daley, hailing from Perth in Western Australia, is a renowned influencer who earns hundreds of pounds for each video she posts. She frequently shares glimpses of her luxurious lifestyle on social media, but it wasn’t always like this. The blonde beauty admits there are things she wishes she could go back and tell her younger self when she was in her early 20s – including how to slow down ageing and be smarter with finances.

To maintain youthful skin, she advised against smoking and emphasized the use of SPF. In a video that has garnered more than 1,300 views, she warned: “Please don’t vape or smoke. It’s so bad for you and it’s going to make you age faster too. “Wear sunscreen every single day. I wish someone would have told me even wear it inside in winter. I don’t care, just wear it every single day under your foundation, I don’t care, just do it. Trust me.”

In her next two tips, Dasha encouraged young people to cut down on partying and start saving their money instead. Not only can leading a healthy lifestyle affect how you age, reducing the number of big nights out will also be healthier for your bank balance. Dasha advised young people to “stop going out partying and drinking all the time” as it results in nothing but “guilt and shame.” Instead, she suggested: “Educating yourself on how to budget, where to invest and just save. “Stop wasting money on unnecessary s*** because I don’t have any stuff that I used to buy it just things. They mean nothing. Be smart with your money. “Instead, invest your money into education and learning a new skill. Because that’s what’s actually going to help you figure out what you want to do in life.”

Dasha also had words for today’s Gen Z-ers, urging them to experience life fully before settling down. This approach, she claims, can prevent regret later in life as they can enjoy each moment to the fullest. She advises those under 25s to “go and explore” the world, rather than getting tied down. Noting how it’s changed her, she said: “I’ve become more confident, independent and self-reliant because of it.”

Her last nugget of wisdom was: “Reach out to your parents and your family. Spend more time with them. They’re not going to be around forever and you will appreciate them more the older you get.” TikTok users appreciated her insight, with reposts such as: “Wise advice! ” Another chimed in: “Smoking always ages people quick,” while yet another added: “Be grateful for today, let go of what has passed..”
