Lakshya Sen, competing in his first-ever Olympic singles match, defeated five-time Olympian Kevin Cordon from Guatemala in a hard-fought battle. Sen showcased his dominance, winning 21-8 in the first set and 22-20 in the second, securing six consecutive points to close out the match in 42 minutes.
