NEET PG 2024 Exam City Allotment Slips to be Released on July 31, Admit Cards on August 8

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has announced that the city allotment slips for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) PG 2024 will be released on Wednesday, July 31. The release date was initially scheduled for Monday but has been postponed. The NBEMS will also release the admit cards on August 8 for the NEET PG 2024 exam scheduled to be held on August 11, 2024. According to the official notification, the test city allocated to candidates will be communicated through email on July 31, 2024, at their registered email IDs. It’s important to note that the exam city allotment slip will not be accessible on the NBEMS exam website at natboard.edu.in. Earlier on July 19, the NBEMS opened an online window for NEET PG 2024 candidates to choose their preferred test city for the examination. This facility closed on July 23, 2024, at 11.55 pm. The test centre venue within the allocated test city will be provided through the admit card, which will be released on August 8, 2024, on the NBEMS website. The NEET PG 2024 examination was originally scheduled for June 23. However, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) rescheduled it to August 11 as a precautionary measure. Candidates should be aware that the allocation of the test city is done randomly from the choices provided and the order of preference is not considered. Candidates who did not choose their preferred test cities during the online period will be assigned a test centre by NBEMS, based on availability, anywhere in the country. The NBEMS notification also clarifies that candidates will not have the option to select their preferred exam shift (morning or afternoon). The examination timings for both shifts will be announced in due course. The NEET PG 2024 examination will be conducted in 185 test cities nationwide. Candidates are advised to visit their allotted exam centre a day before the exam to familiarize themselves with the route, distance, and transportation options.
