Hyderabad Student Killed in Flyover Crash, String of Car Accidents Across India

A tragic incident occurred on Friday morning in Hyderabad when a college student lost his life after his car crashed into a flyover. The 19-year-old BBA student from ICFAI was returning home from the BNR Hills area when he lost control of his speeding vehicle, causing it to ram into the divider of a flyover in Raidurgam. The impact was severe, leaving the Swift Dzire car crumpled beyond recognition. The victim, identified as Charan, died at the scene.

This incident was part of a string of car accidents across India that resulted in multiple fatalities and injuries. In Chennai, four college students tragically passed away and a fifth sustained serious injuries in a separate car crash on Friday. The law students had been traveling from Kovalam to Kelambakkam on Thursday evening when the driver lost control of their vehicle, causing it to veer off the road and overturn. Three students were trapped inside and died, while two others were rescued by passersby and taken to a private hospital. One of the rescued students later succumbed to their injuries.

Meanwhile, in Mumbai, a speeding car hit three bikes on Friday, injuring one person. The police investigation revealed that the car had collided with several vehicles before meeting with an accident. The driver, identified as 24-year-old Alpesh Vivek Indulkar, was found to be intoxicated at the time of the incident. He was subsequently taken into custody, and a case was registered against him.

These accidents highlight the dangers of speeding and drunk driving. Just hours before the Mumbai incident, a 46-year-old woman lost her life after being hit by a speeding car in the Virar area of Maharashtra’s Palghar district on Thursday evening. The incidents serve as stark reminders of the importance of responsible driving and the devastating consequences that can arise from negligence on the road.
