Ancelotti: Real Madrid Will Be My Last Club

Carlo Ancelotti has declared that Real Madrid will be his last club job. The Italian manager, who has a two-year contract at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium, is not enthusiastic about coaching a national team. Ancelotti’s statement comes after Brazil expressed interest in him last season. However, he prefers the day-to-day involvement of club management and finds the idea of coaching a national team less appealing.

“My idea is that Real Madrid will be my last club,” Ancelotti told Jon Obi Mikel’s Obi One podcast. “If there is an opportunity for a national team, I don’t know. I’m not so excited at coaching a national team because I would lose what I like most, the day to day. I really enjoy what I’m doing.”

Ancelotti, a veteran coach with 29 seasons under his belt, has achieved significant success throughout his career. He was the first manager to win domestic titles in Europe’s top five major leagues and is the most successful coach in Champions League history, winning the coveted trophy with Real Madrid in 2014, 2022, and 2024, and with AC Milan in 2003 and 2007. Despite his illustrious career, Ancelotti remains committed to Real Madrid, viewing it as his final coaching destination.
