Israel Showcases its Tourism Potential at India International Travel Mart

The Israel Ministry of Tourism (IMOT) made a strong presence at the India International Travel Mart (IITM) in Bengaluru, showcasing the diverse and captivating tourism experiences that Israel offers. As the Feature Country at the event, IMOT used the platform to reaffirm its commitment to the Indian market, highlighting its strategic plan to establish itself as a prime leisure destination while simultaneously boosting pilgrimage travel.

At the Israel pavilion, visitors were immersed in a variety of experiences, from the sacred sites of Jerusalem to the vibrant nightlife of Tel Aviv. IMOT painted a vivid picture of adventures that await in Israel, including trekking through the sun-drenched dunes of the Negev Desert, exploring the lush oases of Ein Gedi and Timna Park, and marveling at the wonders of the Dead Sea.

Beyond leisure travel, Israel also emphasized its advanced facilities, hospitality infrastructure, and state-of-the-art venues, reinforcing its position in the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) segment. This showcases Israel’s versatility as a destination for a wide range of travelers, from leisure seekers to business delegates.

Engaging with travel trade partners, media representatives, and prospective travelers, IMOT reinforced its invitation to adventurers, pilgrims, and travelers to explore this fascinating country. The positive response at IITM Bengaluru underlines the growing interest in Israel among Indian travelers.

Further solidifying its commitment to the Indian market, IMOT was awarded “Bespoke Cultural Experience Product” at a post-event award show organized by Sphere Media. This award recognizes the uniqueness and quality of Israel’s cultural tourism offerings.

Amruta Bangera, Director of Marketing, Israel Ministry of Tourism, India, expressed her delight at the positive engagement at IITM. “It was truly exciting to engage with trade partners, tourism industry stakeholders, travel enthusiasts, and the media at IITM Bengaluru this year,” she said. “Whether they are seeking a blend of history, culture, and culinary experiences, or embarking on meaningful pilgrimages, we have seen a consistent preference for Israel among Indian tourists, given the country offers something unique for everyone. We deeply value our relationship with Indian travelers and are committed to ensuring that Israel remains a safe, welcoming, and enriching destination for all.”
