Trainer Aircraft Crashes in Madhya Pradesh, Two Pilots Injured

A trainer aircraft crashed at an airstrip in Madhya Pradesh’s Guna district on Sunday, injuring two pilots. The aircraft, a two-seater Cessna 152 plane, belongs to a private aviation academy. The incident took place around 1:30 pm, possibly due to engine failure, after the aircraft had been airborne for 40 minutes.

According to Dileep Rajoria, the in-charge of Guna Cantt police station, the aircraft took off from Guna airport at 12:30 pm with two pilots on board for a test flight. After flying for approximately 40 minutes, it crashed within the Guna aircraft complex. The police suspect that engine failure may have caused the crash.

The two pilots, who were injured in the accident, are reportedly out of danger. They have been admitted to a hospital for treatment. Officials have confirmed that the plane had arrived in Guna a few days prior for testing and maintenance.
