After gaining valuable experience in the field, she returned to India to be closer to her family and established Aks in 2014. With an initial investment of just Rs 3.5 lakh, she set out to create a brand that catered to women between the ages of 18 and 35, offering modern ethnic wear at affordable prices.

The company, which started with a modest revenue of Rs 1.60 crore in 2015, witnessed a steady increase in earnings, reaching Rs 8.50 crore the following year. In 2018, Aks’s revenue surged to Rs 48 crore, showcasing its growing popularity and market presence. By 2021, the company had achieved a significant milestone, generating over Rs 200 crore in revenue. This incredible growth trajectory is a testament to the company’s strong business model and its ability to cater to the evolving needs of its target audience.

In an interview, she expressed the company’s ambitious target of achieving Rs 500 crore in revenue by 2023-2024.
