Avelo Airlines is expanding its services at Tweed-New Haven Airport (HVN) in Southern Connecticut, introducing a new nonstop route to New Orleans, Louisiana, and significantly increasing service to Puerto Rico. The airline will also be boosting its fleet capacity at HVN by adding more Boeing Next Generation 737-800 aircraft.

Starting November 14, Avelo will launch nonstop service between Tweed-New Haven Airport (HVN) and Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY) on Thursdays and Sundays. Doubling Puerto Rico Flights:
From November 8, Avelo will increase its flight frequency to San Juan, Puerto Rico, via Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport (SJU), offering four weekly flights on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. This increase in service will provide more travel options for passengers looking to explore the beautiful beaches, rich history, and diverse culture of Puerto Rico.
Increased Fleet Capacity:
Avelo will expand its fleet at HVN with additional Boeing Next Generation 737-800s, effectively doubling its large aircraft count for the winter season. This will enhance capacity, allowing Avelo to accommodate even more passengers and provide a smoother travel experience.
